How to Fix an iPad with a Frozen Safari App
Just found this out the hard way – Safari froze on my iPad2 and I was stumped for a while, but it’s all sorted now. Open the Safari frozen page. Hold the On/Off button till the Power Off Slide bar shows up. Note: Do not power off though. Press and hold the Home button until the Home screen shows up. Restart your Safari app, it should be OK. Clear safari cache and cookies Tap Settings > Safari and select Clear History, Clear Cookies, and Clear Cache. it’s easy once you know how :/
iPad2 – using magic markers to fix a few things
When I first got my iPad2 (it’s now 4 days old), the excitement wore off quite quickly. Is it really only a big iPhone? I have now commenced an endeavour to make this baby useful! I have had my Apple iPad2 3G for 3 days now. If you want to skim this, please read the last paragraph first – it’s very important. On day 1 I was impressed that it arrived on exactly the day Apple said it would – good service. Apple certainly gets the customer service side right. You can have 30 days free phone support on new purchases. I like that – I didn’t expect to have to use it though. Reviewing the technology I use for work as a web developer. I’m currently awaiting the arrival of two items iPad 2 - It will be put through it’s paces and given hell in central australia. Does that iPad know what it’s in for? Firstly I have to say I’m very disappointed at the unethical labour apparently used by Apple to produce my iPad.
