This article was inspired in part by a thread I saw on a Facebook group I help manage. The matter of contracts comes up time and again and it is time to address it here on Elegant marketplace.
We hear stories all the time of clients not liking a web, graphic or print design and rejecting it over and over and eventually saying –‘ I am not gonna pay you because you did not come up with the goods as I wanted them’. Or, clients simply not paying – its a tough call, do we get nasty or do we stay as nice as pie – do we go legal and if we do, will we have a leg to stand on if we do not have a contact or at least a written agreement in place.
