Guys, Divi is great; but once our site is live, it’s all about traffic generation.
I’m now working on a brand new blog. My plan is to grow it from zero to 10,000 visitors per month without using seo.
My target audience: Anyone who’s interested to learn traffic generation on the internet (I know, I know, the competition is stiff on the subject).
Here are the stats for my first 18 days: 626 unique visitors + 235 subscribers opted in to my list.
Here is what I did:
1. Posted one case study on the Warrior forum in which I show people how I built 10K fans for a new fan page I created – a 1000+ words article with actionable step-by-step guide. I have a sig file (signature line) set up to link back to my blog, GrowthText.
2. Created an email signature (in Gmail) that contains a link back to my new blog. Every time I write to someone they see a link to my blog right below my email message.
3. I reached out to the people on my contact list and asked them to join my email list. Yes, just straight up asked them. You’ll be surprised at how well this works when your offer is unique and interesting. 😉
4. I leveraged my Welcome email. When people signed up to my list, I encouraged them to announce my “10,000 visitors” challenge on Facebook and Twitter in exchange for a free gift. Some were interested, took my offer and spread the word.
That pretty much sums up how I got 626 visitors and 235 subscribers during my blog’s first 18 days on the Internet.
If you have questions, ask away. I might not have answers to all questions, but I certainly learned a lot on growing my new blog from scratch and am looking forward to sharing what I learned.
